dragonlady7MovableType's management interface is down while Dave and our hosting guy work on excluding hits to the management interface from the server logs. Cool, eh?
So, I'm back here for now.
I'll be back permanently, soon, when I get the lj-crosspost feature up.
Dave needs to be paid tons of money, by the way, and allowed to sleep as late as he wants, and fed yummy sausages as often as he wants them, because he is the best, and someday he will be rewarded for all this.
Anyhow.
I just had to post that I spent this afternoon listening to L7. I had forgotten how freaking brilliant they were. :D I didn't even realize-- I have an mp3 in my collection that is a wicked version of "Cherry Bomb" featuring none other than Joan Jett! I mean, how cool is that??
I'd never even listened to it before!
iPod rules, because I'd never have bothered listening to that in iTunes.
Sadly, my little sister had to uninstall iTunes for Windows. How tragic is that? It makes me sad. She's back to Windows Media Player. But WMP is the devil, we all know that.
So sad. Perhaps I can get her computer working again at Christmas. Er, Thanksgiving. Never mind-- she won't have it then. Perhaps I can visit her over Xmas sometime.
Who knows. Anyhow. Back to work with me, for the few minutes left of work. I didn't do too badly today-- 1500 words for NaNoWriMo, 1 article for the pro site about branding, and a good start on 2 other articles for the pro site, for later. (On SEO and webdesign-- beginner tutorials, introductions, how-to-learn-more jobbies. Not great, but certainly invaluable for my replacement here, and good to have on the side for me.)
Right. Back to work-- two press releases and a job quote to write up before 5!!
