Hello! I can absolutely elaborate. I have a lot of feelings. Are you ready? This is going to be long. GIRD YOUR LOINS.

I do have a complicated relationship with the two cakes idea, for a few different reasons. The first and possibly most pedantic of reasons is that the original comic that birthed the whole “two cakes” thing is not… really about what fandom has taken it to mean.
