I spend so much time working on outdoor stuff at the farm that I absolutely cannot be bothered to do yet more of it at this house I don't own where I spent a quarter of my time, if the guy who lives here 100% of the time doesn't care. Like, you gotta look at it, buddy, if you think those weeds look nice, or that four-foot pile of dirt, you really think that's where you want that, then you do that. I'm not going to insist you make it look respectable or intentional or anything. Literally whatever, man. I have so few fucks to give in life in general I've got to save them for things that matter. Having a nice view the few times a year I'm here and conscious is not high enough on the scale.
So far I'm not super sold on the central air, I'd almost rather just have the windows open and a fan on, but it's going to be brutally hot this week and now that I've cleaned the cold air returns (which were clogged so bad as to be whistling, and somehow, cleaning them was 100% my problem again even though I only live here occasionally and haven't spent any significant time here in most of 2020??) the a/c does actually seem to be doing something, so it's worth a shot.
Probably I'd feel more strongly about it if it were humid but it's so dry here, it hardly matters.
