I guess that's true!
My goal is to keep up a slow but steady consistent production of them for a long time, so that eventually I have enough that I can lay them out and decide what kind of design I want, and then I can transition my slow-but-steady consistent work into joining them together. I figure if I make a bunch of rosettes of six each, I can keep that a portable thing, and then eventually set up in one spot and start joining the rosettes of six into a full thing, and little by little I'll wind up with a whole project.
Maybe I'll get so into the habit that I can just always have a kit to work on them, so I'll never be stuck in a funk where I'm too depressed to come up with a new project but so depressed that I have nothing to work on. Maybe I can just always have a basket full of hexies somewhere in the house that I can periodically deposit finished ones into, and occasionally pull them all out and see if I can make another big thing out of them.
I dunno-- I just want to make consistent progress, and have something I can come back to. I've got a long history of getting obsessive about something and putting a ton of work into it over a short sprint and then abandoning it nearly complete but unusable, usually when I've hit some major snag that means I can't complete it as I imagined, so.
It's just meant to be a different pace, is all.
