was out at dinner in a pizza/bar and there were a million TVs. weirdly enough the ones I could see..

was out at dinner in a pizza/bar and there were a million TVs. weirdly enough the ones I could see had either a golf tournament or some sort of USA Track & Field event, no Olympics.
before a race at the track and field event, it was all women, sprinters I think, and they were showing each competitor’s face as she stood waiting for the signal to get into the starting blocks. Some seemed aware of the camera; one waved, another was clearly waving to someone offscreen, others looked stoic and focused.
one woman glanced at the camera, smirked, and did the Black Panther crossed-arms-over-chest Wakandan greeting.
I love that that’s a thing.
