Nickel City Knockouts

We have a name for our team. We're the Nickel City Knockouts.
I am charged with finding us good socks.
I am so excited I can't really focus.

Also, I have been ordered to get a Myspace page, since everyone else has one. Boo. OK, I can no longer fight it.
Dammit, I have been avoiding Myspace for almost three years now. UGH.
I'll post to it here. Anyone else on Myspace please do feel free to explain to me how you dang kids do it. I just don't get it.

It's not that I'm a snob or anything, I'm just... not... a Myspace person. I don't... get it. *poke poke* There are all these... buttons... and things... on the page... and... what do I ... I don't know where to look! AUGH it's overloading my head! *boom*

It... never let me pick a username. That's weird. ... And an unexpected error has occurred. Thanks. Wait, no, it's working.
AUGH BLINKING ADS STOP PLEASE NO AUGH

*pant pant pant*
God I am such a Luddite drama queen!

OK, here I am on Myspace:
B-17.

Just added you.

Now prepare for the thugs messaging you in Txt speak attempting to hook up with you!

Shit, I might make my profile private. Well, I'll leave it as it is and see how things go, at least until I've got all the QCRGs (and e:strippers) added and sorted through.

I figured out who you were largely because I saw Carey on your friends list! (The sign from South Los Angeles in the picture sort of confused me, and I was like, I think I know that guy! Wait, do I?) But there's another person who asked to friend me at the same time you did, and I am pretty damn sure I have no idea whatsoever who they are.

I have a feeling I'll regret giving Myspace my primary email address, but I just don't check any others.

MySpace is ridiculously hard for me to navigate, too, and I don't know why. I feel like the layout is so overloaded...you're exactly right--it's like I don't know where to look! In the end, I am very content with LJ.

Good for you for making the leap, though (and with such a cute set-up!).

Heh. I feel the same way about MySpace. ::shakes cane in solidarity::

You can always turn off the email notification. I did that after I kept on checking my email and myspace only to find a solicitation for a webcam porn site and not a 10/10 scale girlfriend! Ha Ha

;-)

Personally, I love MySpace (though I'm not too keen on Facebook yet...). I'm just not enough of a writer, nor am I confident to blog, for Live journal to be other than voyeuristic for me. So keep writing, I'll keep reading, and I'll leave you comments both places!

Oh yeah - Nickel City Knockouts is a GREAT name! I'm almost jealous (though I also love my team's name!)
